Invalidisäätiö wanted a piece of nature to their premises. The building itself set its challenges – significant structural changes weren’t an option and the lobby couldn’t be crowded with large potted plants. The solution was the pillars already existing in the space. In cooperation with Rune&Berg's designers, we created plant walls beautifully surrounding the columns. The final result completely covers the pillars and brings abundant greenery while saving floor space. The big, green columns are like noble trees, growing in the middle of the lobby. In the dim space, special lights were also installed on the green walls to make the plants thrive.
