Nordic Partners with a Shared Vision: InnoGreen × Hässelby Blommor

INNOGREEN | KOIVU | SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability in green interior design is gaining momentum across Sweden. Companies, designers and clients are looking for solutions that combine timeless beauty, natural calm and sustainability for the long term. This is where InnoGreen and Hässelby Blommor have found common ground.

Hässelby Blommor is one of Sweden’s leading names in green interiors. Their philosophy is to design spaces that feel harmonious and enduring. This connects seamlessly with InnoGreen’s mission of improving quality of life with innovative greenery solutions. The partnership is built on shared Nordic values that emphasise respect for nature, appreciation for craftsmanship and the belief that sustainability and beauty belong together.

Moss leading the way in Swedish interiors

The Swedish design scene is seeing a strong rise in natural materials and calming green solutions. Moss walls, preserved plants and wooden elements are increasingly popular in offices, restaurants and public spaces. These choices reflect a growing preference for interiors that support wellbeing, require little maintenance and align with sustainability goals.

“Clients want interiors that feel both organic and refined. The interest in moss is driven by its elegant appearance, calming effect and easy upkeep. At the same time, people want to make conscious choices that last,” says Esbjörn Jagebro, Hässelby Blommor.

“Sustainability has become a clear expectation from our clients. They ask for solutions that are beautiful, functional and produced responsibly. For us, this mindset guides every partnership we enter into,” Jagebro adds.

Koivu finds its place in Sweden

Against this backdrop the collaboration between InnoGreen and Hässelby Blommor has introduced the Koivu collection to the Swedish market. First presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2025, Koivu was met with enthusiastic feedback.

“When we presented Koivu in Stockholm, the response was very positive. People appreciated the natural birch frames, the calming moss and the balance of elegant design with sustainable materials,” says Jagebro.

Made in Finland from birch plywood, the Koivu range includes pots, room dividers, panels and green walls. Koivu products reflect Nordic simplicity and are designed to last in both form and function.

Koivu green panels have been especially popular in Sweden. They bring the tranquillity of the forest into interiors and require no maintenance. Clients value them as decorative elements that can stand alone or be combined into larger compositions, making them both versatile and impactful.

“Our clients appreciate that Koivu is manufactured locally in Finland. They see the short production chain and recycled materials as proof that the collection is genuinely sustainable. At the same time, the visual impact is strong and timeless, which makes the products easy to place in many types of interiors,” Jagebro notes.

In office environments Koivu has been particularly well received.

“We notice a growing demand for interiors that reduce stress and support wellbeing. Koivu responds perfectly to this need. It creates an atmosphere that feels calm and connected to nature,” says Jagebro.

More than a product launch

The partnership between InnoGreen and Hässelby Blommor is more than a product launch. It represents a shared step toward greener interiors and shows how Nordic companies can work together to create sustainable impact.

“For us at InnoGreen it is essential to work with partners who share our values. With Hässelby Blommor we immediately saw the same dedication to sustainability, quality and Nordic design. That makes the collaboration feel natural and long lasting,” says Oula Harjula, InnoGreen.

“Our vision is to create interiors that are both beautiful and responsible. Working with InnoGreen feels natural because we share the same passion for sustainability and Nordic design,” Jagebro concludes.

As interest in sustainable green interior design continues to grow in Sweden, Koivu and other innovative solutions will play an important role in shaping interiors that are responsible, enduring and connected to nature.
